We are looking for individuals who are committed to helping our community's future by providing live-in care for youth who come from diverse backgrounds and experiences. We are looking for people who believe in, and are committed to, providing a nurturing environment that promotes the well-being of youth in a manner that they feel safe, secure, and supported in achieving their success.  Live-In Caregivers can provide care in their own home or in a home provided by the Society.

We work together to ensure our Ministry standards are met for children and believe in raising the bar to encourage youth to have choices in their lives and a voice in their care.

We recognize that being a live-in caregiver has its challenges. You will not be alone. Our experienced staff is committed to supporting you every step of the way, working as part of a trauma-informed team with 24/7 on-call support.

Live-In Caregivers also receive comprehensive training that includes Ministry mandatory training and internal trauma-informed training through our dedicated and skilled SPRING program to support and guide you in this important work.

With live-in homes a substantial majority of living expenses are covered, including rent, utilities, and a grocery allotment. The daily per diem rate is tax-free and ranges at minimum, from $120 per day and includes respite support.

There is a thorough screening process for all interested applicants. For those individuals who are approved, there is a comprehensive training plan that includes Ministry mandatory training and internal trauma-informed training through our dedicated and skilled SPRING program to support and guide you in this important work.
